1. Information We Collect

When you create an OmenMe account, we collect:

  • Account information: email address and password (stored as a cryptographic hash — we never store your plain-text password).
  • Birth details: date of birth, time of birth (optional), and place of birth including geographic coordinates. This data is necessary to calculate your natal chart.
  • Usage data: interactions with the Oracle chat, compatibility checks, and daily omen views.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Calculate and display your natal chart and astrological readings.
  • Generate personalized daily omens, transit alerts, and AI-powered interpretations.
  • Provide the Oracle chat experience with context from your chart.
  • Process payments for premium features (via Stripe — we do not store card details).
  • Send push notifications you have opted into (daily omens, transit alerts).

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure (D1 database, KV store, and R2 storage). All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 with a unique salt per user.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

  • Stripe: processes payments securely. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • AI providers: your chart data (not your email or identity) is sent to AI services to generate interpretations. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in (JWT tokens). We do not use tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set essential security cookies for DDoS protection.

5. Your Rights

You can:

  • Access and download your data from your profile settings.
  • Delete your account and all associated data at any time.
  • Opt out of push notifications in your browser settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely.

7. Children

OmenMe is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
